Football Tournament

Coventry Reggae Fever CiC will be running a 5-a-side tournament on the 20th July as part of our main event. There will also be other children's sports activities taking place on the day.

Girls teams

CCC U9 Girls

The catholic community football centre, commonly known as the 3C’s, were formed in 1971 in Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham. The U9 girls team currently compete in the Central Warwickshire Girls Football League.

Rugby Borough Lionesses

The Rugby Borough Lionesses U9 girls team was formed in 2020. The girls currently play in the Leicestershire Women’s and Girl’s U9 league.

Coventry City U9 Girls Red

Coventry City Girls are one of the largest female-only grassroots clubs in the West Midlands. The team currently play in the Central Warwickshire Girls Football League.

GNP Sports U9 Junior Panthers

GNP Sports is a thriving local community football club. The team currently play in the Central Warwickshire Girls League

Coventry Spinx U9 girls

Coventry Sphinx is a successful local community football club. The team currently play in the Central Warwickshire Girls League.

Coventry Godiva

Coventry Godiva is one of the fastest-growing grassroots girls football clubs in Coventry. The team will be joining the Central Warwickshire girls' League next season.

Boys Teams

GNP Sports

In 1983, GNP Sports FC was founded with 1 senior team. In 2021, the club established a Weetabix Wildcats centre for girls-only football (ages 5-11), making GNP one of the few grassroots clubs with this status in the Coventry area. Today in 2024, the club boasts 26 junior teams including 5 girls' teams and 21 boys' teams plus 2 senior teams.

Leicester Nirvana

Leicester Nirvana Juniors was launched in 1990. Talent is nurtured from the age of 5 years up to under 18’s, as well as adult Seniors reserves and Seniors first team, providing a clear pathway for young players to develop into men’s football in the non-league pyramid system. The club also has teams that are part of the grassroots league systems, from Under 7’s through to adults.

Carib FC:

Small Axe Carib is an inner city club created to provide opportunities to children to play competitive football, who otherwise may not have had a chance to. Carib FC play in the Leicester City League

Footworks Academy

Footworks Academy was established in 2020 just after COVID-19. Our purpose is to provide quality coaching in the inner city to kids who may never get access to quality coaching that is regularly available in the suburbs.

In the 4 years we have been going we have had 12 players signed to academies in the Westmidlands and other players many opportunities to showcase their talent.

All the kids who have accessed our program have shown great development as a person as well as developing technical skills and understanding of the game
